"Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart,
with all your soul,
with all your mind, and with all your strenght."
The second is this" "Love your neighbor as yourself."
There is no commandment greater than these."

The needs of people near and far need to be embraced, encouraged, empowered by Jesus’ love. UCCMEDFIELD is responding by seeing each person through God’s eyes and serving each person as Jesus’ hands. We are deepening our support to our local community and commitment to serve the most vulnerable throughout the world. Here are some opportunities where you can be involved!
Cradles to CrayonsLooking for a fun service project that you can do at home? Since 2008, UCCM has been packaging socks and underwear for Cradles to Crayons that are included in clothing packs for children in the greater Boston area. Pick up a take-home bag which includes detailed instructions and all the materials needed in the Cradles to Crayons room found at Mission Central (outside of Fellowship Hall). Contact Susan to add your name to our email distribution list and you will be notified when new take home bags are available for pickup.

Soup to GoSoup To Go serves lunch and plays bingo with the ladies at the Woods Mullen Shelter and the men at Southampton Shelter in Boston. We would love to have you join our STG team by either cooking and preparing lunch on a Saturday morning at the church or by serving lunch and playing bingo with the ladies at the shelter in Boston. We run STG three times a month (2nd, 3rd and 4th Saturdays) so there are plenty of opportunities to serve! Check out the Sign Up Genius link below for available dates. Also, donations of sweatshirts, underwear, reusable shopping bags, and handmade cards are always welcome. Please leave donations in the bins at Mission Central located outside of Fellowship Hall or contact Rich Frank with questions.

Thomas Upham House ServiceOn the first and third Sundays after worship, we hold a short worship service with the residents of the Thomas Upham House. The songs and smiles we bring remind our friends in the older stages of life how much Jesus loves them! Please reach out to Cathy Chung with interest. (Note: A copy of your vaccination card is required.)
