SMALL GROUPS
MOPS/MOMSnext, LED BY PASTOR KAREN
Meeting 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month from 9:30 am - 11 am
We know "momming" is hard so we created a group for moms with children newborn to 5th grade to support one another in a no-judgment setting with childcare provided! Childcare will be provided by mature moms who have passed a national background check and whose gifts with children are obvious so that you can relax and enjoy conversation with other moms who have little ones. The conversation will focus on every day mom life and how to stay focused on some of the things that matter most (God, family, self-care, etc.). The group is a nondenominational, Christian group. Everyone is welcome! Don't do church, no problem! To register for the group, please complete the form below with your suggested donation of $35 per family. We look forward to meeting you!

Faith At Home
At UCC Medfield, we are committed to helping our families grow in their faith. One of the resources we offer for families is our Faith At Home Depot in the Children's Ministries Center on the 2nd floor of the church, where you will find some of our favorite secular books that we have used over the years in Children's Church and Summer Sunday School. You will find a laminated card in each book that highlights faith connections to these engaging and fun stories. We also have a variety of Christian children's books, DVDs and Bibles available, as well parenting books. We encourage you to take these books home and read them together as a family. We pray these stories and the conversations they spark will nurture the faith of your whole family.
HELPFUL FAITH-BASED PARENTING WEBSITES
For the Family
A faith-based website by a husband and wife team with resources to encourage, equip, and support parents and ultimately point them closer to Christ.
Grow Christians
The site will help readers deepen their life of faith, and show how to help children grow as Christians too. Writers will offer their stories of practicing faith at home, covering topics like family prayer, reading the Bible, how to talk about the cross, using music, art, cooking, and more.
Future Flying Saucers
A blog to biblically equip parents and teachers so children can fly for Jesus. The site has free Bible lessons for kids, parenting info and more.
Building Faith
The premise of this site is that when households practice faith at home, everyone can grow closer to God. Building Faith’s “Home Practices” are do-able, adaptable, fun, and meaningful activities that can be used by households of all shapes and sizes, including singles, friends, couples, children, teens, and parents.
Traci Smith
A pastor and mom writes about raising children to nurture their spirituality through simple practices. She also sends a weekly email, called Treasure Box Tuesday with useful information on faith and family, as well as links to products and resources that may be of interest.
