Pine Ridge Reservation Book Drive
Please join UCC Medfield and Park Street Books to help make a difference in the lives of children who are living in poverty at the Pine Ridge Reservation. The Missions Team chose Pine Ridge as our church has supported them in the past with mission trips and because they are one of the poorest communities in the world with an average annual income of $2600.00 (yup, that's one year). We can make a difference one book at a time. Follow this link for details and to sign up today to purchase a book(s).
Mission Possible 2019 - Saturday, November 2

All are welcome, invite your friends! Follow this link to view the Sign Up Genius with all the details. Contact Jamie O'Loughlin with questions.
Heifer Sunday - November 3
On November 3, our Children's Ministries students will complete a month of learning about Heifer International’s work to end hunger and poverty by the gifting of animals with an animal parade in worship. Don’t be surprised if you see bees, goats, water buffalo, and cows in our midst! Following the service, the congregation is invited to The Living Gift Market in Fellowship Hall, where each class will host a table with information about their class animal and samples of some tasty products that we get from that animal, including a butter churning demonstration! Please consider making a donation to Heifer (checks payable to UCC Medfield, with Heifer in the subject line.) The children are so excited to share what they've learned with you!

Worship Creatives Needed
Would you like to put your imagination and your creative gifts to work to help bring God’s story to life in worship at UCC Medfield? The Sanctuary has been transformed to create a space that enhanced the ‘Something Beautiful’ theme. We are building an imaginative team to brainstorm ideas and a team to help bring those ideas to life with skills like sewing, creative writing for liturgy and/or skits, drama, videography, woodworking, and set design for every sermon series. The commitment can be for one series or more, based on your availability. Contact Heidi Willson for more information.
