Here’s Why It’s Important

All of us on the Board and Staff are keenly aware of the way “change” in our church has stirred a wide range of feelings. From our hearts we acknowledge all of your reactions as well as our part.

For those of you who are hurting or anxious, we understand. Change is really hard.

For those of you who are optimistic and hopeful, your courage will help lead us.

We’re in this together.

Why are we changing? Change is a part of our church life-cycle which helps us grow into the church God wants us to become.

I recently heard this quote, “Our God never stops creating, so we should never stop becoming.” 

When I think about our the journey ahead, I’m really optimistic. We don’t have all the answers and we’re not going to get everything right on the first try. But one thing we know: God is calling and we ask you to journey with us. Thank you.
