SCHEDULE OF WORSHIP SERVICES: Our weekly worship service through August 31 is at 9:30 on Sunday mornings with nursery coverage and a multi-age "Fun in the Son" Sunday School for PreK-5th grade.

August 3 - Traditional
August 10 - Traditional (Communion Service)
August 17 - Praise Service (in Great Room)
August 24 - Traditional
August 31 - Traditional

On Sunday, September 7, we will return to two services; 9:30 traditional with Sunday School for Preschool through 5th grade and 11:00 praise with multi-age Sunday School.

AUGUST 1 DEADLINE FOR NEW STEPHEN MINISTER APPLICATIONS. A training class for new Stephen Ministers is being planned for this fall. Applications must be submitted by August 1. Do you have gifts for caring, encouragement, and listening? If so, now is the time to submit your application to the church office. Applications are available through any one of our Stephen Ministry Leaders: Pastor Phil, Heidi Groff, Gayle Edgar, or Rick Cram. Or contact the church office today. Call 508-359-2351.

SUNDAY SCHOOL REGISTRATION FORMS for the 2008-2009 school year were mailed out recently. Please complete and return to the office as soon as possible.

"FUN IN THE SON" SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL – under the leadership of Lauren Ruud, we will be offering a multi-age Sunday School for children age 4 through 5th grade through the last Sunday in August. Younger children are invited to go to the nursery. If you are in town this summer, we hope you will continue to worship with us. We will be looking for another adult each week to assist Lauren and be present as the second adult to satisfy our Safe Church policy.

PLEASE SIGN UP FOR SOUP TO GO – This important ministry continues twice a month during the summer (6/28, 7/12, 7/19, 8/9, 8/23, 9/6). Volunteer to prepare soup and sandwiches or to deliver to those in need in Boston. Signup sheets are on the counter in the Narthex.

MEDFIELD FOOD CUPBOARD - Specifically from UCC, they have asked for cookies, crackers, ketchup, mustard, salad dressings, single roll paper towels, toothbrushes and toothpaste, but will gladly accept other non-perishable items. They also collect Shaws "points". Please place your donations in the baskets located in the corner of the Narthex marked for the Food Cupboard. Thank you.

LEND A HAND could use your help. If you have the time to make an occasional meal for a friend in need we can use you! We are always looking to add to our list of 'Angels' so if you have the desire to help others when help is needed, please join us. Lend a Hand does occasional rides, food for collations and meals for church friends when a need arises. It's an 'on call' ministry and when you get the call you can always say 'no' if it's a busy time in your life. If you feel that you can help us email or drop a form at the office!
