Tuesday
Yesterday went well, I think. I spent the afternoon at WVU headquarters and did a 2 hour training with about 15 group leaders there. Each group leader has 10 people in their group and they meet about 3 times a week. The purpose is to help the staff grow spiritually. They were motivated and after my presentation asked great questions. I encouraged Vincent to meet with these leaders on a monthly basis, something that both Vincent and the group leaders thought was a good idea. I arrived back in Mukono around 6:30 p.m.—the rush hour traffic is awful. In light traffic it is about a 25 minute drive but it took us well over an hour.
I led devotions this morning again and am going to be hanging out trying to meet and talk with people--they are from all over Uganda. I lead devotions tomorrow morning and Thursday morning and will be doing another training tomorrow. The conference is over Thursday night. I am not sure if I go back to Kampala on Thursday night or Friday morning.
