Tuesday
Yesterday went well, I think. I spent the afternoon at WVU headquarters and did a 2 hour training with about 15 group leaders there. Each group leader has 10 people in their group and they meet about 3 times a week. The purpose is to help the staff grow spiritually. They were motivated and after my presentation asked great questions. I encouraged Vincent to meet with these leaders on a monthly basis, something that both Vincent and the group leaders thought was a good idea. I arrived back in Mukono around 6:30 p.m.—the rush hour traffic is awful. In light traffic it is about a 25 minute drive but it took us well over an hour.

Made it to Mokono
I arrived at Entebbe yesterday around 10:00 p.m. and stayed at a nearby hotel. I actually slept pretty well and headed for Kampala at 8:00 a.m. I went to church with Vincent Langiarti, a WVU staff person I met in March and who is responsible for the spiritual care of all of the WVU staff. We went to his church in downtown Kampala called Calvary Chapel. They have three two hour servies in a row: 8:00, 10:00, and noon. They had a good praise team and sang several songs that our praise team sings. Everyone was young (translation: under 35). I was the only old geezer in the room as far as I could tell (gray hair kind of stands out).
