While I can’t report anything dramatic has happened, I have enjoyed all the people that I have met this week. Yesterday I ran into the former manager of the Children of War Center, Joseph, who is now in Kampala and today, Carolyne Siganda who is the WVUS rep that I work with in Washington D.C., arrive from Kenya and I will spend some time with her and James, the leader of the northern district for WVU to plan for the future. I continue to be impressed with the passion, commitment, and diligence which the staff at all levels displays.

I met Cameron yesterday at the conference. He is World Vision staff from New Zealand who has projects in Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda, and one other African country I can’t remember. It was interesting to learn about him and his work—one of the best things about traveling here is meeting people and learning their stories. When I came in March I met a WV staff person from Senegal.
