A Good Day
Today was one of the best weather days since I have been in Uganda. This is the rainy season, and while that doesn’t mean that it rains all of the time, there has been rain most days and when it pours, it really comes down. The other night we had a thunderstorm around 8 p.m. and then it rained all night and stopped sometime around 8 a.m. Since most of the roads aren’t paved, it becomes very muddy with huge puddles in very large pot holes.

Sadness at St Thomas More
I visited St. Thomas More School today but it was much shorter than my visits normally last. Headmaster, Todo Alex, called WV to let them know that a teacher had died early this morning and he was heading to Kampala for the funeral. It is also final examinations, so the seniors are sitting for exams and weren’t around. I only spent about 35-40 minutes there.

Catching Up
I haven’t had time to blog this past weekend and wanted to catch you up on what happened, at least in part. I spent most of Saturday and Sunday with Fulukas and his wife Miriam and the four child prostitutes that they are trying to rehabilitate.
