UCC Women
UCC Women consists of all the women of our church. The Steering Committee's purpose is to provide opportunities for Christian fellowship throughout the year for the women of our church. Attending one of our events is a great way to meet other women of faith, share experiences, develop friendships and receive support from your sisters in Christ. Some of the annual events sponsored by the UCC Women are: Medfield Day, the Advent Supper, Lenten Breakfast and overnight women's retreat.
Medfield Day working with other committees within our church, we staff a table with information on our Christian Education Program, Bible studies, historical details about UCC Medfield and sell world famous fudge.
Advent Supper/Cookie Wrap during which we share a meal of soup and bread, then prepare packages of cookies for those less fortunate, which are delivered to local missions in which our church is involved.
Lenten Breakfast which consists of a wonderful breakfast, then a thought-provoking program. Women from other local churches are invited to attend.
Women's Overnight Retreat - This is a delightful opportunity for spiritual growth which focuses on a new topic each year. Recent themes were: Listening to God, and Music, Worship and Faith, and Bible Stories You Thought You Knew. This has been a life-changing event for many of the attendees.
Summer Sustenance Supper - a mid-June event of potluck, fellowship and inspiration. This program is a wonderful way to provide some balance at a very busy time of the year and sustain our connections throughout the summer.
