The Rev. Dr. Philip J. Bauman (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)) has been the Senior Pastor since 1996. He served as the pastor of the First Congregational Church (UCC) in Clinton, MA from 1981-1988, then attended Boston University where he received a Ph.D. in Pastoral Psychology in 1995. He has a passion for helping people to grow as disciples of Jesus and finding their spiritual gifts so that they can then be equipped and sent into the world for ministry. Pastor Phil believes that worship is central to the spiritual formation of the congregation and all of its ministries and missions.
Mrs. Susan Holbrook, Director of Children's Ministries

Susan Holbrook, is responsible for the overall coordination and direction of the Children's Ministry program. Susan recruits, trains and provides weekly support to the 25 member teaching team for both services. For our 175 registered students, she is responsible for curriculum and resource selection, special programs and serves on a several ministry teams including Safe Church, South Africa sister church and Welcoming and Friendship.
Mrs. Laury Hunt, Church Administrator

As the Church Administrator, Laury Hunt is responsible for the administrative details of our church work including the production of the weekly bulletins, monthly newsletter, and general correspondence and maintains the church database. She acts as liaison whenever services of the pastors are required. She coordinates the activities of the various teams, and maintains the church calendar for both church-related and outside group activities plus is the liaison with outside vendors and contractors. Laury also sings in the church choir and the Medfield Community Chorus.
Ms. Wendy Ludwig, Youth Minister

In addition, she recruits and equips small group leaders who serve students in the following ministries: Focus on Youth for 6th and 7th graders, Confirmation for 8th and 9th graders, Senior High Fellowship for 9th-12th graders and CWAM for college-aged students. Youth Ministry at UCC Medfield seeks to engage students in an on-going process of faith formation that allows them to live as Christ's disciples in the world - shaped by His Word, secure in His love and serving with joy.
Mr. Michael Olbash, Minister of Music

The Minister of Music is the organist for services on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. and other holy days; the director of the Sanctuary, Chancel, Treble, and Training Choirs; and the director of the Youth Bell and Chapel Bell Ensembles. He is responsible for the selection of music, maintenance of instruments, and stewardship of our extensive music library, and also provides assistance as necessary for our Cherub Choir and Praise Team. Mrs. Heidi Willson, Praise Music Leader

In addition to directing these groups and leading worship, she is responsible for maintaining a large music and media library and all audio/visual and electronic equipment used in praise worship.
