we're going to puerto rico!

On September 6 and September 20 2017, hurricanes Irma and Maria ripped into the little island of Puerto Rico. They tore through neighborhoods, commercial areas, and frail infrastructure leaving people without homes, electrical power, or running water. Recovery timelines and estimates are vague and constantly changing. In the midst of this uncertainty, SHF will be part of the solution.
Even a quick read through the life and teachings of Jesus reveals that serving those in need is among his priorities. You may, in fact, find nothing that he invested more time and passion into. SHF is committed to embodying Jesus' priorities and we see a clear opportunity in helping the people of Puerto Rico rebuild their lives and communities.
