Great Themes of the Bible will be led by Sandy Van Ness for “Older but Wiser” folks on Tuesday mornings beginning on October 14 at 9:30 a.m. for 7 weeks in the fall and 6 weeks in the spring. Christian Women's Home Group - Beginning September 23 Cathy Chung will lead a home-based discussion group on various books. Young children are welcome. The group will begin with Rick Warren’s book, The Purpose Driven Life. Self-help books often suggest that you try to discover the meaning and purpose of your life by looking within yourself, but Rick Warren says that is the wrong place to start. You must begin with God, your Creator, and his reasons for creating you. You were made by God and for God, and until you understand that, life will never make sense. This book will help you understand why you are alive and God's amazing plan for you--both here and now, and for eternity. Christian Book Discussion group – beginning Wednesday, September 10, Cathy Chung will lead a book discussion for the fall. The sessions will be held from 12-1:30 on Wednesdays. The group will begin with the book Dangerous Surrender: What Happens When You Say Yes to God by Kay Warren. Men’s Bible Study led by Pastor Phil, will be held from 7:00-8:30 on Wednesday evenings from September 17, topic to be announced.
