December Worship Services
On Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24, worship services will be held at the following times in the Sanctuary.
4:00 pm Family Candlelight service
(especially appropriate for families with young children)
5:30 pm Candlelight service
7:00 pm Candlelight service
Because the use of folding chairs in aisles and hallways is unsafe and unlawful, we are offering overflow seating in our Parlor. If you arrive on Christmas Eve after the Sanctuary reaches its capacity then the ushers will direct you to the Parlor, where you may participate in the service via a direct feed on the TV.
On Sunday, December 30, one service of Lessons and Carols will be held in the Sanctuary at 9:30 am. There is no Sunday School or Praise Service; the nursery will be open and staffed.
Message From the Stewardship Team
Thank you for letting Love Come First. After five weeks of pledging, we have received 123 Faith Pledges for 2019. While this is great progress, there is still work that we need to do. Based on our current pledges, we are $35,000 short from last year's total. Let’s pray that we can close the gap and exceed last year’s generosity. Pledge cards can be found in the Church Lobby or follow this link to make your online gift today.
Christmas Play Thank You
A special thank you to the talented Judy Weiner for writing, directing and designing the costumes for our Christmas plays for the past 15 years. Judy has been such a blessing to our church family and we are so grateful for all of her hard work bringing the Christmas story to life year after year. We wish Judy all the best in her next adventure!
Thank you, also to Joan Parsons and Greta Krauss for their assistance directing the play, to Rich Holbrook for all of his technical support, and to photographers Adam Krauss and John Edgar. Lastly, a big thank you to our talented cast members for their hard work over the past six weeks preparing to present the play. Bravo!
Watch the video of their performance and check out the photos of all the fun.

This Sunday's service will be led by Beth Bauman and the December 30 Communion service of Lessons & Carols will be led by Rev. Mary Poole. Readers and singers are needed, as are caring folks who can greet the residents and gather their prayer concerns. The residents are so appreciative of the worship-care-outreach that we provide. If you can be there or have any questions, contact Mary Poole.

This year Heidi will be leading a short time of worship from 8 pm - 8:15 pm for anyone wanting to spend some time together in quiet song and prayer.
