Growing Young Survey Begins December 3
Growing Young research identified this list of the 6 things that growing churches do. They:
1. Practice keychain leadership
2. Empathize with today’s young people
3. Take Jesus’ message seriously - nurturing a Jesus centered community
4. Foster warm peer and intergenerational friendships
5. Involve young people and families in all facets of congregational life
6. Are the best neighbors (locally and globally)
WE NEED YOU to take an online survey to let us know how you think UCC Medfield does in these areas . This survey will be open through January 7. Stay tuned for more info and directions to the link. Assistance will be provided for anyone that needs help logging onto the assessment.

Christmas Gift Donations Due December 10 and December 17
UCC Medfield is again collecting Christmas gifts for City Mission’s Christmas Shop program, Medway House Family Shelter and Friends of the Mentally Ill. Donation boxes can be found in the lobby starting November 26.

This is our opportunity to donate Christmas gifts to each member of every family in the house! Each individual picks a gift and they are listed on the board in the lobby. Please take the card, put your name on the list, and return it to the box marked Medway in the lobby by December 10. What a great opportunity to share our joy this Christmas season!
Gift suggestions for Friends of the Mentally Ill are on tags on the Christmas Tree in the lobby. Please place gifts in the appropriate box by December 10.
City Mission’s Christmas Shop brings the joy of giving and receiving to many people in the Greater Boston area by collecting gift donations. City Mission sets up temporary “shops,” where families in need are invited to choose gifts for their loved ones. Gift suggestions include: winter coats, sweaters and sweatshirts, hats, mittens, socks, underwear, backpacks, toys, games and books. Gifts should be new and unwrapped. Gifts are due by December 17.
