Christian marriage is the covenanted commitment of a man and a woman to one another with the deliberate and diligent intention of living their life together in relationship to our God. The marriage ceremony, the wedding, is the joyful occasion when two people unite as husband and wife through the public exchange of covenant promises. As such, it is a worship service in which the couple offers themselves to one another and to God in the presence of witnesses, the Church.

In an effort to assure, as best we can, that the bride and groom have every opportunity to examine their relationship in a truthful, sincere manner, we require premarital counseling which includes a premarital inventory and a minimum of six sessions with one of the pastors. A minimum of 90 days should be allowed from the date of the couple’s request for the service to the date of the wedding. For further information, contact the church office.
